10.00 (excellent) All I want to know is, how Akira Amano came up with such a great story!? Who would've thought that a story following the succession of a new Mafia boss is now one of the most loved animes here? I only found the show three years ago and while this review is a little late I'm already finishing my third watching of the show. All of these characters have made an impression in my life and while it's a bit crazy to say I'm glad. I was sad to see the ending of the this amazing show, but I'm still following the manga and I really want her to continue the show! Her storyline always takes the craziest turns, some predictable, others completely mind-blowing. The effects of these shows started out a bit rough, well that's what you expect from starting anime, but either way the studios have come a long way from that and they've put life into the new attack moves and they know what shots keep the suspense up. The filler episodes weren't the best I've seen (mostly just look backs on previous battles) the others were better (like the summer before the Varia came). The music selection for this show is great! It's a first I see character songs and concerts being held for the seiyuus :). I've become a huge fan of this manga and show and I hope Amano Akira keeps up the great work!!

9.75 (excellent) I loved the OVA and I'm excited/ anxious of the new series to come out in February. The action scenes were amazingly made, the sound effects fit perfectly and the special effects were crazy, but not overdone. The storyline was relatable and nice.

9.75 (excellent) Ok for those who are going to hate on this show...Go Away. Seriously like every warning you're going to find before every show (which many seem to ignore and then blame the uploader) this is a yaoi-like show, which means boy x boy. If you don't like it, here's a simple tip for you...DON'T WATCH IT. Now for those who share the same love for the show as I do, I have to say it was cute. I'm somewhat conservative, but I found it very easy to watch this show (in a later epiphany while talking with my sister I realized because it was the uke had this girl vibe coming from them). The stories of each of them were great, though I wished they had showed more of the third couple, she's always doing that hmm... Well I loved the whole vignette story type she was going for, I would smile when I saw a repeated scene from another couple's point of view showing how their stories somewhat interact. The couples themselves were a hoot! Akihiko's messed up childhood somehow made it through to adulthood and now Misaki is constantly having to deal with this man/child who just happens to be a prodigy writer. The second couple is very sweet Nowaki out of nowhere meets Hiroki at a park and well the rest is history, the story line took a jump 6 years to the present and well they're still stumbling on their love. ^-^. The third couple is as crazy as they come, the kid, 18, Shinobu really does believe that he and the 35 year old Miyagi-san are destined for each other. It was nice to see the kid really try to make the professor like him and in the end it works seeing as they go out. I really wish I could've seen more out of them, they seemed like a potentially interesting couple. Either way the story was light and pure, with a bit of drama and comedy spread everywhere. If you don't mind the guy thing it's a very nice show to watch.

9.50 (excellent) Funny and yet it seemed normal. While there was a strange squid girl trying to invade the humans, she easily fit in with the workers at Lemon. The three stories in each episode were funny, entertaining, or heartwarming. I saw as Mini Squid Girl captured my heart on her troublesome adventures into the unknown *SPOILER ALERT* only to later find out that it was all a dream! Though the second season is now over I look forward to the next and hope Ika Musume keeps me smiling :D

9.50 (excellent) Personal warning to all those crazy people: This show too, is also a yaoi-type show, which means boy x boy, ( which means guys will like other guys). Please do not bother any website after you've read this review and cry that no one told you what this show was about. You've been warned.
Anyways~ I loved the show, definitely modern and extremely funny. The different animations that show the emotions (also found in Junjou) the storyline between each of them was different than Junjou. I'm really grateful for that, you sometimes see authors go for the same sort of relationships between different characters but these were all different and I'm happy. This one has all the main characters working at an editing magazine company. I don't know how they fit in their love lives in their crazy schedules, but their insanity at work helps roll things along in their relationships. You learn just a bit of the manga process (at the end during the previews, there's always someone explaining a role of manga-editing) while it may be overexaggerated (or true, I'm going with true) it gives it a ordinary day sort of feel towards it. I'm just sad not looking forward to new episodes anymore T^T

Princess Tutu

9.25 (very good) Oh where to start on this one! The music! I loved how they used much of Tchaikovsky's music off Swan Lake to enhance the ballerina's (especially Princess Tutu's) performances! How dramatic everything seemed and with only in a change of music! The animation too receives good marks on my part, they must've really and I mean really scrutinized every detail of a ballerina dancer. I liked the takes on characters like Odette as Princess Tutu and Odile as Princess Kraehe, Their clothing seemed appropriate and very beautiful for this anime and all fitted very well! The storyline was good, I liked how they did a variation on the two princesses trying to fight for the prince. Returning the heart of the prince while the other tries to throw it away for her own benefit. It was perfect for the "roles" to be taken by two friends, Drosselmeyer being in charge of the story and the characters challenging their own fate of it was a great add-on the the anime. Now on to my toughies; I didn't give it full credit, because I didn't enjoy some of the ending. This still ended, in a way, in tragedy! How could Ahiru just selflessly let the prince go?! I, as a devoted fan of Princess Tutu, was devastated to find the ending so beautiful and yet so sad! Up to the very end she was nothing but helpful and all she got was a thank you!? -sigh- Oh well all in all I liked it very much and if you like a good dose of classical music with some storytelling then I suggest watching this. :)

9.25 (very good) A great anime that was so cute, normally I wouldn't watch these, because they have no supernatural events, but I loved it! They called on all the types they have and the heroine was very oblivious to Tamaki. The twins were mischievous, Kyoya was dark, Mori was the dark horse, and Hani was just soooo cute!!! :3 I loved the story and how they would always get into their shenanigans, but there was always an episode were it would focus on only one character, and I really like those. The anime was light, comedical, and romantic all in one as the two main characters start to fall for each other (with the supporting homosexual cast's help of course :3 )

9.25 (very good) Oh the beautiful Ave Maria always played with heart in every performance! The deep rich tones during the Cello Concerto no.9, the liveliness of the Polonaise Brillante, the sadness in a usual piano Chopin "Tristesse" played by a violin, the madness in Fantasie Impromptu and I could list each song, but the list is too long. This is one of the reasons I love anime, the usual fusion of anime and classical music is a wonderful thing. I love listening to their pieces and while being a Vivaldi fan myself I did enjoy the many pieces played during the contest. The story introduced each character (though not entirely subtlety) their stories and lives, it was a nice change of pace during my action phase. However, while I respect Kahoko's personal conflict, it at times made it a bit difficult to relate to her. Other than her few problems the show itself was amazing.

9.00 (very good) I would have giving it a better score had it not been for the next season. I loved the second season as well, but I was perfectly happy with the first season ending.

9.00 (very good) It's a bit of a refreshing show from the usual fantasy and crazy story lines. It's a sweet, simple story of a bachelor trying to figure out the world of his new daughter (who's a bit quirky herself--she's very mature for her age and if you watch it you'll know what I mean). It's definitely better than the most comedic American stories of a guy struggling to be a father.

9.00 (very good) I'm lost, my memory is faulty as always. All I know is that the ending was beautiful, the purity of a heart is a wonderful thing. I'm planning on watching it again to refresh my memory, but one scene that sticks out is the general's repeated rejection from Karinka and his final rejection was somewhat sweet and sad, but humorous all the same.

8.75 (very good) It was a wonderful ending to a nice anime, though not always suspenseful or entertaining, I did enjoy much of their techniques and shows! I liked how they showed many classical stories such as Cinderella and Romeo and Juliet in their performances. Sora's determination for a carefree stage just made me want to root for her and the rest of the cast was just as determined (but also hilarious!). Kaleido Star is like a nice break from those high suspense and action animes and I absolutely loved it! :9

8.25 (good) The first season was so cute! It inspired me back into my cooking habits as I watched Amano try to reach her dreams of owning her own little sweets shop! I loved the way the food looked like little treasures, the drama was fine and mostly concentrated on the sweets. However my rating on it is like that because well... the show no longer focuses on the sweets! :'( Yumeiro Patissiere Professional! now focuses on their love lives and lots more subtle drama. Though I understand that they're in high school, they shouldn't completely fall away from it. They still have Henri's project to deal with, but it mostly deals with the kids, plus if you were to just watch their new opening theme, you wouldn't of thought it as a cooking show until you read the title. Overall though it's a good anime to watch, my recommendation would be to just watch the first season.

8.25 (good) I still have a few episodes to go until the second season finale, but it's a good show. These people truly are a bunch of idiots and I think that's why I find them so endearing (besides the girls sometimes, who are kind of idiotic to the point of frustration--I think they might actually be more idiotic than the boys :D).

8.25 (good) I'm a bit blurry on the details on this show, but I remember it being my first. I first watched it on 4kids (yes boo me) and then saw that it had never really ended, I forgot about it, but a few months later I decided to find the ending on the internet. I found there that there was no dubbed version I only found the subbed version, and well I hate seeing things unfinished I decided to watch the subbed version from the very beginning and that's where subs won my heart. The voices and stories were way better than the dubbed version, I look down on most dubbed versions (some are still good though) and I'm glad. I'm starting to lean off the subs and am starting to watch raw versions of the shows.
Back from my ramblings. I do love the costumes, the stories were nice and Ichigo's (way better name than Zoey, even if it is clichéd) craziness did not go unnoticed, like every girl, her feelings are very strong.
